Hailing from Maui, Kemper spent a childhood looking up to the greatest Hawaiians from the generations before him. With no lack of motivation, Kemper is known as a hard-working young surfer leading the next generation of international waterman.
With countless awards and nominations, Billy Kemper has cemented himself as the world's leading big wave competitor. In 2017, Billy claimed his second WSL Peahi Challenge victory, two years in a row, including the prestigious, 2017 Billabong XXL Ride of the Year Award. Billy currently resides on the infamous North Shore of Oahu with his wife, Tahiti, and 4 children.
