Hemp Milk Recipe

Over the past few decades, daily milk substitutes are becoming increasingly popular. Whether it’s due to lactose intolerance, diet, or other health issues, more people are searching for a non-dairy alternative, such as almond or soy milk. Another great option is hemp milk, and the best thing about it is how easy it is to make!

You only need two ingredients: hemp seeds and water. However, you can also add additional flavoring or a sweetener too, depending on your preference. Simply combine 1/2 cup of hemp seeds with 4 cups of water and mix it in a blender for about a minute or so. For flavor, you can add 1 tablespoon of honey, maple syrup, or even a teaspoon of vanilla. Once it’s blended, it should be fairly smooth, but you can take the additional step of straining the milk if you prefer. If you want milk that is a little more thick and creamy, you just add less water. After storing it in an airtight jar, the hemp milk should stay good for up to 5 days in the fridge.
